Short answer. We could not verify whether Brickfy is still operating normally. Its main website loads and describes it as a marketplace for assignments of credit rights from €5, but on 3 November 2026 its Spanish version returned a 404 error with the text "Under Maintenance", and there is no official announcement of closure or continuity. According to its own website, its activity is not subject to specific financial regulation. Reental is a different product. Verify Brickfy's status before depositing.
Platform data reviewed on 3 November 2026. Reental figures as of 4 November 2026, provided by the company. Reental is one of the two parties compared and therefore an interested party. That is why every figure carries its source and date, and why we say what we could not check. We do not state that Brickfy is closed or that it has breached anything: we only report what is on record and what is not. This page keeps the address under which it was originally published.
What is Brickfy?
According to its main website (3 November 2026), Brickfy is a marketplace for investing in loans from selected originators (the "Loan Originators"), that is, in assignments of credit rights. You can start "with as little as € 5", it mentions investors from more than 38 countries and it shows the footer "© 2026 Brickfy". The return fields ("earn up to %", "Avg. IRR") were empty when we read it. From what we could read, the website does not show a company name; the "Impressum" link showed no text.
According to third-party directories (p2pmarketdata and Dealroom, seen in search results without opening the profile), the company would be Brick and Mortar Digital Assets OÜ, of Estonia. We could not verify this in the Estonian commercial register. El Referente reported in 2022, in a headline we saw but whose body we could not open, a pre-seed round of €133,000.
What is and is not known about Brickfy's status
There is no official announcement of closure or continuity. What can be checked as of 3 November 2026 is the following:
- The main website responds. It loads with the message "Start building your alternative investment portfolio" and the €5 minimum (brickfy.com).
- The Spanish version returns an error. brickfy.com/es returned a 404 page with the text "Under Maintenance".
- Key pages are missing. The routes we tried for FAQs, fees and terms (/en/faq, /en/fees, /en/terms-and-conditions) returned 404. The footer links to FAQs, Fees, Terms, Risk Statement, Assignment Agreement and Impressum, which we could not read.
- No activity data. We found no published volume invested, number of projects or default rate. TheCrowdSpace lists them as "N/A" with no update date.
- Register. It does not appear in the CNMV register of crowdfunding service providers (checked on 3 November 2026). We could not consult the Estonian commercial register.
A website that loads does not prove the platform is operating normally, and an error on one language version does not prove it is not. That is why we treat it as neither closed nor active.
What Brickfy says about its regulation and guarantees
From a reading of its website on 4 November 2026. Brickfy says that the assets it offers are exclusively assignments of credit rights, that they are not considered crowdlending under Regulation (EU) 2020/1503, that its activity "is not subject to specific financial regulation", and that neither Brickfy nor the originators operate as crowdfunding service providers. It adds that the funds invested are not deposits and are not protected by law, and warns: "Your capital is at risk". TheCrowdSpace classifies it as "Not regulated", with no date. In its own words, you should not expect the safeguards of the European crowdfunding regime.
Among its advantages, the website cites a buyback guarantee ("Buyback Guarantee"): according to its text, the originator guarantees the monthly payments, which would reduce exposure to late payments and default. A guarantee of this kind is worth what the guarantor's ability to pay is worth, and we could not review who the originators are or on what terms they answer. It also states that there are no costs for the investor ("No associated costs for the investor"), although we could not read its fees page.
User reviews
On Trustpilot, Brickfy had a rating of 2.5 out of 5 from 12 reviews, only one of them from the last 12 months. On 4 July 2026, a user described a temporary suspension of deposits while a segregated account is set up, and said withdrawals were continuing. Reviews from 2024 and 2025 mention users unable to log in, emails with no reply and money not returned. On the page we consulted, the company had not replied to the negative reviews.
These are users' opinions, not confirmed facts, and with so few reviews they do not allow conclusions about the platform as a whole. We include them because an investor would want to know about them, not as proof of any breach.

The products are of a different nature and the data on Brickfy is scarce. The table sets out only what is on record, with dates.

According to the company's legal documentation, its product does not require that authorisation. | Exit before maturity | Not stated in what we could read. | Direct sale to another user on the platform (FAQ). Not guaranteed: it depends on a buyer being available. |

How to check Brickfy's status before depositing
If Brickfy interests you, run these checks before moving any money. Open its website again in Spanish and English and read the risk statement, the assignment agreement and the fees once they load. Identify the legal entity and the specific originators behind each offer. Look the company up in the Estonian commercial register and confirm which supervisor, if any, answers for it. Ask in writing, through the contact channels on its website, about the status of deposits and withdrawals and about the segregated account mentioned in the July 2026 review. If you do not get clear answers, do not deposit. And do not invest more than you can lose entirely. More criteria in our guide to the best real estate crowdfunding platforms.
What Reental offers, with data as of 4 November 2026
According to the data Reental provides, the minimum investment is €100 (1 token = €100) and the average historical IRR is 16.5%. It has tokenised a cumulative €106.9 million (approx. $124 million) across 128 projects. Of these, 77 are live and total about €87 million (approx. $101 million): 50 operating, 20 in refurbishment, 6 under construction and 1 in funding (Miami 7, with $1.19 million of $2 million, 59.7%). The other 51 are closed and total about €19.9 million. Reental states that it has no public incidents. These are company figures, not audited by third parties.
Reental is not a crowdfunding platform authorised by the CNMV and does not appear in its register of crowdfunding service providers (checked on 3 November 2026). According to the company's legal documentation, its product does not require that authorisation. This means that investors do not have the specific safeguards of Regulation (EU) 2020/1503 (for example, the knowledge test, the loss simulation and the reflection period), and that their holding is not backed by any crowdfunding supervisor.
Reental has limitations too. The exit is a direct sale to another user on the platform, according to its FAQ, with no guarantee of a buyer, a price or a timeframe. The website advertises 24-hour selling on a P2P market, but on 3 November 2026 the "P2P Marketplace" link in the menu did not lead to any page. And the 16.5% IRR is a figure declared by the company, for which it has not specified whether it is gross or net, so we do not compare it with any other.
Which investor each platform suits
Until its status is clarified, we cannot say who Brickfy suits: we neither recommend it nor rule it out. Anyone who still wants to consider it should have completed the checks above and accept that, according to its own website, it does not offer the safeguards of the European crowdfunding regime. Anyone who already has a balance there can ask in writing for information on deposits and withdrawals.
Reental suits someone looking for a tokenised stake from €100, with monthly payments in USDT, who accepts that its legal framework is not that of a crowdfunding platform and that liquidity depends on another user buying. If you prefer platforms entered in the CNMV register, see Reental vs Civislend and Reental vs Wecity. Invest only an amount you are prepared to lose entirely.
